The Board of Buskaid USA is delighted to welcome members of The Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble from South Africa to Boston and New York. The Ensemble will be making the following appearances playing Classical, Classic Pop and their own Kwela music:

The Ensemble has just returned from performing in Paris and before that played at the opening of Oprah Winfrey’s Leadership Academy in South Africa.

Buskaid USA is a tax-exempt 501c3 organization raising money and awareness for The Buskaid Music School. The Buskaid Music School is a stringed instrument school in Soweto helping young musicians in South African Townships.
