View this post on Instagram Hi guys, how are you? I hope you’re all holding up out there. I wanted to talk to you about something. It was brought to my attention that a couple of weeks ago a concerned fan was worried the @redbubble #GALips blue fundraising facemask could have connotations of blackface or be considered minstrelsy. It’s so important we listen to and act on any concern like this, even if it's just from a single person. Fortunately only fifteen or so of the original blue masks were sold before we redesigned the mask to be a brighter blue, so that nothing could be misinterpreted. And in light of current events, we have decided that the funds will now be benefitting South African Youth Education for Sustainability - @sayes.mentoring. I apologise profusely if even one person was offended by the blue mask and thank you so much to everyone who has purchased all the colours, and t-shirts.
