Hidden Gems

The St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London has been working in association with the children’s charity, Variety Club, on a photographic project, HIDDEN GEMS, featuring stars of the stage, screen and sporting world including Lily Cole, David Schwimmer, Colin Firth, and Gillian Anderson, as well as some special figures in everyday life including Variety Club children, British Army soldiers and Chelsea Pensioners.
25 of Britain’s leading photographers agreed to take 100 portraits of famous and infamous individuals and landscapes all within or around the hotel, itself a ‘Hidden Gem’, looking to find a hidden, unrevealed ‘something’ from each subject.
25 of the photographers’ favourite photographs (including Gillian's photo) will be auctioned at an event to be held at the hotel on 30th November.
The project is also supported by Getty Images. The photos were on public display at the Getty Images Gallery, London from November 22 to 26.
Limited edition hardback books with the project's full collection of 100 stunning photographs are available for purchase (£40). To order your copy please click here.
NOTE: Gillian's photo is NOT in the book.
