Raffaello donates 30,000 euros: Hand in Hand for Children e.V. say Thank You! Gillian presented a donation cheque in the amount of 30,000 euros to their charity sponsors Wayne Carpendale and Annemarie Warnkross. The Raffaello Summer Day 2012 charity event took place yesterday, June 21, at Bayerisches Nationalmuseum in Munich, Germany.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), an offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, announced the winners of the 2nd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards yesterday evening. The star-studded gala awards dinner to acknowledge and honor the best in television was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
This year’s Festival will screen a diverse slate of nearly 200 feature films, shorts, and music videos, representing more than 30 countries, along with signature programs such as the Filmmaker Retreat, Poolside Chats, Coffee Talks, Music Events and more.

Winners of the awards, given away by the Broadcast Television Journalists Assoc., an offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday, June 18.
The Critics’ Choice Television Awards honors programs and performances that aired between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012. Since last year, six new categories have been added for the 2011/12 season including Best Movie or Mini-series, Best Actor in a Movie or Mini-Series, Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series, Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series, Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series and Best Animated Series. Bob Bain will executive produce the show for Bob Bain Productions.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) today announced a star-studded line-up of presenters for the 2nd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards, including a cross section of last year’s honorees, Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), who is also nominated this year, Busy Philipps (Cougar Town) and John Noble (Fringe), as well as this year’s nominees Gillian Anderson (The Fall), Zooey Deschanel and co-star Max Greenfield (New Girl), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Regina King (Southland) and RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag U).
Additional presenters include Beth Behrs (Two Broke Girls), Chris Colfer (Glee), Josh Dallas (Once Upon a Time), Emily Deschanel (Bones), Patrick Duffy (Dallas), Donald Faison (The Exes), Sharon Gless (Burn Notice), Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time), Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town), Stana Katic (Castle), Cloris Leachman (Raising Hope), Robert Patrick (True Blood), Hannah Simone (New Girl), Kate Walsh (Private Practice) and Shane West (Nikita).
Stars of the shows being honored in the Most Exciting New Series category, including The Following, The Mindy Project, Nashville, The Newsroom and Political Animals, will also be in attendance representing their hotly anticipated new shows.
