You must have this "proof of payment" on hand when you arrive at the event. If you arrive without it, you will not be granted entry by the security guard. It is also suggested that you get there early so that the confirmation emails may be exchanged for the handmade tickets prior to 3:00 p.m. IF you have paid and NOT received a confirmation email by July 2, you MUST contact NfA (nfaturid@zetnet.co.uk) right away. ACTIVITIES: After tea, coffee and soft drinks, the Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble will play a selection of their wonderful interpretations of both African and classical music (30-45 minutes). This will be followed by two hours in which you will have the opportunity to ask Gillian all the questions you have always wanted answered. Before leaving, there will be some wine and small eats. There will also be a raffle to win prizes of various items of memorabilia available only to those attending the event (Gillian will be donating about three of these) and, maybe, even some surprises. There's been a change of plans in regard to the auctioning of 20 Photo Opportunities with Gillian at the event. Seventeen of these are instead being offered in an Advance Sale. Cost: 100 each Contact: See Below under HOW TO PAY Sale Deadline: Friday, June 11, 2004 Three shall be raffled at the event thanks to the much appreciated generosity of an anonymous donor who purchased two of these Photo Ops specifically for this purpose. Those wishing to participate in the raffle of these Photo Ops may purchase tickets at the event, the maximum price for which will be 10 and may well be lower. Should all the Advance Sale Photo Ops not be purchased before the event, the unsold ones will be auctioned there as well. IMPORTANT: If you are a UK taxpayer, be sure to let the organizers know that you would like the charities to claim Gift Aid. In doing so, the charities will be able to claim back an extra 28% from each donation. RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: Smart. While it is not an evening event, we would like people to look their best in honour of Gillian.
