Gillian 'X-Poses' EU Lab 'Conspiracy'
Posted at 11:14 AM (PDT) on Tuesday, April 28, 2009

On sci-fi classic The X-Files, Gillian Anderson's character, Scully, uncovered bizarre government programs and science experiments gone awry. Now, the award-winning actress is helping PETA "x-pose" a proposed law that, if implemented, would turn back the clock for millions of animals who are used and abused in laboratories in Europe.

Gillian, a long-time advocate of animal welfare issues, has written a letter to every Member of European Parliament (MEP) asking that they vote in favour of animals and good science.

The new law, proposed by the European Commission, is intended to control animal experiments across the 27 countries of the European Union (EU).
