Failure to forward the email before noon (UK time) on Monday, June 28 will mean that those names will be left off the list.

Belfast Telegraph Article

From the Belfast Telegraph
June 18, 2004

By Maureen Coleman

A 'mighty' time in town

It's good to see a woman once voted the sexiest in the world has a healthy appetite.

While many A-list actresses opt for a diet of cigarettes and lettuce leaves, Gillian Anderson keeps her figure trim with a no-nonsense approach to food.

The former X-Files star, in Belfast to film the movie The Mighty Celt, was spotted at Ta Tu on the Lisburn Road with writer and director Pearse Elliott.

Gillian tucked into crispy pork and dumplings, followed by pan-fried medallions of pork with crushed beans, grilled courgette and a red onion and red wine jus. The meal was washed down with a bottle of Fleurie and a G and T.

Gillian was pleasant and friendly as she chatted to staff and punters in the bar.

And if Pearse Elliott looked pleased with himself, he has every right to be. Not only has he landed the lovely Gillian for a role in his Belfast-based movie, but Robert Carlyle, star of Trainspotting and The Full Monty, is also onboard and was spotted in Ta Tu as well.

New EXTREMIX Compilation!
Posted at 6:30 AM (PDT) on Thursday, June 17, 2004

During their recording sessions with Gillian Anderson in Vancouver in 1997, which resulted in the hit single EXTREMIS, the members of HAL also created an ambient mix of the track, featuring Gillian in a restless mood, reflecting on her dreams of an uncertain future in a world menaced by predatory robotic machines.

Entitled 'Kitsilano Kool', it is a breathless piece of music, beautifully complemented by Gillian's urgent tones in a vocal track significantly different from the original mix. After gathering dust for six years deep in the vaults at HAL Towers, it is now available for the first time on EXTREMIX, a ten-track compilation CD of various new & re-worked HAL tracks.

This CD is now available for purchase at the HAL Boutique website.

July 10 Fundraiser: Photo Ops with Gillian
Posted at 5:41 AM (PDT) on Tuesday, June 8, 2004

Photo Opportunities with Gillian at the NfA/Buskaid fundraiser:

There's been a change of plans in regard to the auctioning of 20 Photo Opportunities with Gillian at the event. Seventeen of these are instead being offered in an Advance Sale.

Cost: 100 each
Contact: nfaturid@zetnet.co.uk
Sale Deadline: Friday, June 11, 2004

Three shall be raffled at the event thanks to the much appreciated generosity of an anonymous donor who purchased two of these Photo Ops specifically for this purpose.

Those wishing to participate in the raffle of these Photo Ops may purchase tickets at the event, the maximum price for which will be 10 and may well be lower.

Should all the Advance Sale Photo Ops not be purchased before the event, the unsold ones will be auctioned there as well.

If you are a UK taxpayer, be sure to let the organizers know that you would like the charities to claim Gift Aid. In doing so, the charities will be able to claim back an extra 28% from each donation.

NOTE: If you plan on attending the event on July 10, please be sure to pay for your ticket(s) as soon as possible to ensure receiving your "entrance email" in time. If you arrive at the event without your email confirming payment in hand, you will not be granted entry by the security guard.

DD continues talking about TXF2
Posted at 12:31 PM (PDT) on Friday, June 4, 2004

From Dark Horizons and SciFi.com:

Duchovny on "X-Files" Sequel
Source: British Teletext

David Duchovny continues talking up another cinematic adventure in "The X-Files" canon to UK's Teletext service.

"We're all on the same page. Gillian Anderson wants to do it, I want to do it, Chris Carter, who would write and produce the film, wants to do it and I believe Fox the studio wants to do it. When you have the four major players in the enterprise wanting to do it, it will happen. It's just a matter of when. I hope it happens within the next year".

Now that its been a few years since he played Mulder, he seems keen to slip on the coat again - "I think it would be fun at this point, a few years removed, to get back into it and do it".
